Jing Fang Lecture Series – Part 1
About Course
Course Overview
Jing Fang is a classical approach to Chinese herbal medicine. It is based on the Shang Han Za Bing Lun, a Han Dynasty text dating from the turn of the last millenium. This text has been key to the development of Chinese herbal medicine over the last 2000 years, and the formulas contained in it form a cohesive body of knowledge that is practical and applicable in today’s world.
This course is an introduction and comprehensive overview of the Jing Fang system of diagnosis and herbal medicine prescription using the Six Syndrome Differentiation System of Dr Feng Shi-Lun.
Lectures are split into two parts – the first part discusses theory, and the second part discusses clinical application, illustrated with case studies. Students are encouraged to work through the case studies after listening to Part 1.
After each lecture, there is a short quiz on the material that has been presented.
